Art Reproduction

If you would like high resolution digital images of your artwork so you can make prints after selling the original artwork, then we can help you.

We make high resolution digital images by photographing the artwork. This process is much kinder to the art than scanning, which uses a fluorescent light and heat and can actually damage the art in the scanning process.

Our computerized Gigapan Epic Pro robotic camera mount allows multiple images to be taken  under correct lighting conditions which are then stitched together in Autopano Giga, a professional stitching application. The result is a digital file of several hundred megabytes or in some cases gigabyte images that can be enlarged to poster size without any loss of image integrity.

We then use sophisticated Eizo colour management monitors to fine tune the image to colour match exactly to the original art. This is stored on our server so that any susbsequent prints can be made without any colour variation.

We use only archive quality UltraChrome HDR pigment inks on our Epson Stylus Pro 9900 which produce an incredible colour gamut, ensuring vivid colour rendering and precise colour matching with great clarity when printing.

The ink is rated as lightfast for 100+ years.

We carry the following paper/canvas which are acid free and pH buffered to give you the highest quality results that will amaze.
